Postnatal Supper Club

A Mother’s Evening

Postnatal Yoga & Supper

A Mother’s Evening is a gently held space created especially for mothers, a chance to be cared for, rather than doing the caring.

The evening begins with a 60-minute postnatal yoga practice, designed to support recovery, ease tension and restore calm, in a supportive environment. The practice is adaptable and led with care, allowing you to move at your own pace.

After yoga, you are invited to sit down to a nourishing shared supper, thoughtfully prepared and served, so you can relax, be fed and connect with other mothers without rush or expectation.

Each Mother’s Evening is intentionally planned in small groups, offering individual attention and a sense of ease throughout the night.

This is a space to arrive as you are, be looked after, and leave feeling supported and replenished.

Babies welcome in arms.

 Flying Therapeutics

Flying Therapeutics

Learning to fly requires you to trust and let go.  This practice is both unique and stimulating; one is suspended in the air, allowing the practitioner to work with the weight-bearing gravity of the flyer.

Flying therapeutics is: –

  • being suspended in the air on the base’s hands and feet;

  • being flown, often in an inverted position, where gravity aids length and space to the torso, shoulders and spine; and

  • through a sequence of assisted stretches, encourages the feeling of flight and lightness.

We would recommend attending the Partner Yoga & Thai Massage workshop to attain the most out of our Flying Therapeutics workshop.  Open to all with an interest in massage techniques.  No partner is necessary. You will be working in pairs or in groups of three.  Come with a willingness to learn something new.

When: Saturday 25th April 2026, 1.30pm - 4pm

Where: Taramga, 4-6 Hookers Road, London, E17 6DP

Costs: £35 per person per workshop

Spring Equinox Day Retreat

Spring Equinox Day Retreat

Seasonal Ritual | Spring Equinox

The spring equinox marks a sacred moment of balance, when day and night stand equal, and the earth begins its steady return toward light. It is a time of transition, renewal and quiet awakening, inviting us to release what has been dormant and make space for what is ready to grow.

This day ritual in E17 is an invitation to honour that shift with presence, warmth and intention.

We begin in a cosy studio with a two-hour yoga workshop led by Lucie, blending fluid movement to awaken and energise, but also honouring rest and support. The practice is designed to help you shed the heaviness of winter, restore balance within the body and gently awaken creative, life-giving energy.

From there, we step into the elements at nearby community sauna baths. Over 90 minutes, you’ll move between heat and plunge pools, mirroring the seasonal rhythm of release and renewal. The contrast of warmth and cold supports circulation, clarity and deep nervous-system reset a physical and symbolic cleansing as the season turns.

We return to the studio for an indulgent supper-club gathering with our wonderful cook Dora, sharing food inspired by Middle Eastern flavours and colours, adding spring flowers, herbs and fresh seasonal flavours.

This closing ritual invites nourishment, connection and reflection, allowing the experiences of the afternoon to settle and integrate.

This is a space to pause at the threshold of the season, to let go, to soften, and to blossom into spring with intention.

Join us and book your space below

Date: Saturday 21st March

Time: 1.30pm - 8pm

Price: £130 - initial payment of £50 to reserve your space

Payment plans are available please email info@taramgastudio.co.uk to set one up

Monthly Maintenance

Return to your practice and yourself each month with an extended yoga practice in community.

Sophia will guide you through an embodied check-in upon arrival, followed by an exploration of the season's themes, grounded in yoga philosophy.

There will be a chance to set intentions for the month ahead, which can then inform that day’s yoga asana and meditation practice. Each month will offer a unique balance of movement and stillness, in line with the season.

The emphasis is on embodiment over athleticism, on autonomy over uniformity of practice, with options for all levels of prior experience.

Each month, we'll close with a final circle to check in, share any takeaways and reflect.

This session provides a monthly touchstone for you to return to and stay more present with your inner life, goals, habits and values throughout the year.

Time: 1:30-3:00pm

Partner Yoga, Thai Massage

Slowing down, allow yourself to cultivate connection and conscious listening. This workshop will cover partner yoga, partner stretches and Thai massage techniques. Partner yoga and stretches is: – the physical concept of listening and collaboration; an engagement in assisted and supported yoga stretches; and the ability to connect with both breath and touch. Thai massage is: – the physical embodiment of the Buddhist concept of loving-kindness ‘Metta Bhavana’; a bodywork to address alignment & rebalance of energy in the body; and referred to, by many, as the “lazy person’s yoga”. ‘Massage is not just a luxury it’s a way to a happier and healthier life.’ Anon Open to all with an interest in massage techniques. No partner is necessary. Come with a willingness to learn something new.

Couple Pregnancy Massage

Join Eleonora from Re-Set-Pause for a soothing and enriching Couple’s Pregnancy Massage Workshop on Saturday 8th November.
Massage is a beautiful way to nurture connection and wellbeing during pregnancy. In this special two-hour workshop, you’ll learn gentle, supportive techniques designed specifically for the needs of pregnancy. The focus is on creating comfort, calm, and connection during this transformative time.

Research shows that pregnancy massage can significantly reduce depression, anxiety, and physical discomfort such as back and leg pain. It can also positively impact labor: studies have found that women who received regular massages experienced less pain and, on average, shorter labors with a reduced need for medication.

This session will guide you through safe, soothing massage techniques to ease common pregnancy discomforts, promote deep relaxation, and strengthen emotional connection. You’ll also explore how to set a peaceful atmosphere and communicate with care to create a more nourishing shared experience.

The massage will be fully clothed, performed on the floor, and easy to replicate at home, with optional oils for added comfort.

Please note: This workshop is for personal enrichment and does not provide certification. One ticket per person is required.

Ease into the Equinox with Sophia Tupy

Ease into the Equinox with Sophia Tupy

Slow things down just before the Autumn Equinox, and step back from the pressure to “do” with this relaxing rest-shop. Like a workshop, but with zero "work", this extended session is designed to revive your nervous system and ready you for the season ahead after a proper rest. This is the third round of Sophia's seasonal rest-shops in 2025, taking place in line with the Autumn Equinox, which welcomes a more yin energy as the nights start to get longer than the days once again. It’s at this time of year when A quarterly opportunity to rest and recharge, these sessions create space for you to feel renewed and ready for the coming season.

We'll check in to settle into the space and connect with your body. This arrival will be followed by a discussion about our resistance to rest, optional breathwork, intention-setting and nervous system regulation techniques to find calm embodiment. Next, drop into longer-held, static yin poses to open up joints and prepare your body for total stillness. The 2nd hour is pure comfort, with restorative yoga postures and yoga nidra to rest your body and reset inside and out.
