Terms &
Conditions.
Taramga Studio is an independent yoga and wellness studio located inside Yonder, 4–6 Hookers Road, London E17 6DP. We are operated by Taramga Studio Ltd.
These terms and conditions apply to all classes, memberships, workshops, retreats, studio hire, and SUP yoga sessions booked with or through Taramga Studio. By booking or purchasing any of our services, you agree to these terms.
If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us at [email protected] before booking.
All classes are booked through our booking platform, Momence, at momence.com/u/taramga-studio. Payment is taken at the time of booking.
More than 6 hours before class: cancel via Momence and receive a full class credit to your account, valid for future use.
Less than 6 hours before class: the class will be marked as used and no credit will be issued.
No-shows: if you do not attend a booked class without cancelling, the class is forfeited. No credit or refund will be given.
Late arrival: we cannot guarantee entry after a class has begun, as this disrupts other participants. No refund or credit will be issued for late arrivals turned away.
In the rare event we need to cancel a class, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will receive a full class credit to your Momence account. If no suitable alternative is available, a monetary refund will be offered.
- 5-class packs are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.
- 10-class packs are valid for 5 months from the date of purchase.
- Class packs are non-refundable and non-transferable once any classes have been used.
- Unused classes after the expiry date will be forfeited.
Taramga Studio offers four membership tiers: Ripple, Wave, Tide and Journey. All memberships are managed through Momence and payment is taken monthly by direct debit.
Ripple, Wave and Tide memberships require a minimum 3-month commitment from the date of joining. During this period, your membership cannot be cancelled except in the circumstances outlined below.
The Journey membership (prenatal and postnatal) is flexible with no minimum commitment and can be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ notice.
After your initial 3 months, your membership will continue on a rolling monthly basis. You may cancel at any time by giving 30 days’ written notice to [email protected]. Your membership will remain active until the end of the notice period.
Cancellation during the 3-month commitment period is only permitted in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Serious illness or injury preventing you from attending classes (medical evidence required)
- Relocation outside of London
- Pregnancy (we would be happy to move you to a Journey membership instead)
Requests for early cancellation must be made in writing to [email protected].
You may request to freeze your membership for up to 4 weeks per year in the event of illness, injury or holiday. Freeze requests must be made in advance by emailing [email protected]. Membership payments will be paused for the duration of the freeze and your commitment period extended accordingly.
Class allowances (Ripple: 4 classes, Wave: 8 classes) do not roll over month to month. Unused classes in a given month are forfeited. Tide membership classes are unlimited and subject to availability.
Member discounts on workshops (10% for Ripple and Wave members, 20% for Tide and Journey members) are applied at checkout on Momence or by arrangement. Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively after purchase.
Workshops, day retreats and seasonal events are ticketed separately from class memberships. Booking and payment terms vary by event and are stated on the individual event page.
More than 48 hours before the event: full refund to your original payment method.
Less than 48 hours before the event: no refund will be issued. In some cases we may be able to transfer your booking to a future event at our discretion.
Cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected].
If we need to cancel or postpone an event, we will notify all ticket holders as soon as possible. You will be offered either a full refund or a transfer to the rescheduled date. We are not liable for any travel, accommodation or other costs incurred in relation to a cancelled event.
Some events require a deposit to reserve your place. Deposits are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Taramga Studio. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the event date.
Some events hosted at Taramga Studio are run by guest teachers or third-party practitioners. In these cases, booking and refund terms are set by the event organiser and will be clearly stated on the event page. Taramga Studio is not responsible for third-party event cancellations.
Taramga Studio is available for hire by the hour, half day (4 hours) or full day (8 hours). All hire enquiries should be directed to [email protected].

- More than 14 days before hire date: full deposit refund.
- 7–14 days before hire date: 50% of total hire fee retained.
- Less than 7 days before hire date: full hire fee retained.
- The studio must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period.

- Any damage to the studio or equipment will be charged to the hirer.

The studio may be hired for yoga, Pilates, dance, movement, meditation, wellness, photography, filming, corporate wellness sessions and private events. Any use not listed must be approved in advance. The studio may not be hired for activities that conflict with Taramga Studio’s values or that we reasonably consider inappropriate.
Stand-up paddleboard (SUP) yoga sessions take place on West Reservoir, Stoke Newington. Due to the nature of open water activities, additional terms apply.
SUP yoga is not suitable for non-swimmers. You must be able to swim at least 25 metres. If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or are pregnant, you must consult your doctor before booking and inform us at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse participation if we have safety concerns.
Buoyancy aids are provided and must be worn at all times on the water. Boards and paddles are provided. You are responsible for any damage caused to equipment through negligence or misuse.
Sessions may be cancelled at short notice due to adverse weather conditions or water conditions that make it unsafe to proceed. In this event, you will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative date. We are not liable for travel costs or other expenses incurred.
SUP yoga sessions are non-refundable and no class credits are issued for missed or cancelled sessions. We strongly recommend only booking when you are confident you can attend.
In the event that Taramga Studio cancels a session due to adverse weather or unsafe water conditions, you will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative date.
All participants must sign a waiver before taking part in a SUP yoga session. This will be sent to you on booking. If you have not received it, please contact [email protected] before your session date.
Your wellbeing is our priority. Please read the following carefully.
You must inform your teacher before class of any injuries, medical conditions, recent surgery, or pregnancy. This allows us to offer appropriate modifications. Our teachers are experienced yoga practitioners, not medical professionals, and cannot provide medical advice.
Physical activity carries an inherent risk of injury. By participating in classes, workshops and other activities at Taramga Studio, you acknowledge that you are physically capable of taking part and that you do so at your own risk. We strongly encourage you to consult your doctor before starting any new physical activity programme.
Our prenatal and postnatal classes are designed for participants at these specific life stages. Please inform us of your stage of pregnancy or how recently you gave birth before attending. We recommend obtaining medical clearance before returning to exercise postnatally, particularly for Core Connection classes.
Children under 16 are not permitted to attend adult classes unless the class is specifically designed for parents and children (such as Parent & Baby classes). Children attending parent & baby classes remain the full responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times.
Taramga Studio is a community space and we ask everyone who uses it to help us keep it welcoming for all.
- Please arrive a few minutes before class. Latecomers may be asked to wait until a suitable pause in the class.
- Remove footwear before entering the studio.
- Please silence your phone before class begins.
- Treat the studio, equipment and other participants with care and respect.
- No food in the studio. Water is welcome.
- Please inform the teacher before class if you need to leave early.
- Taramga Studio is a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds, abilities and identities. Discriminatory or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the premises if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or disrespectful to others.
Taramga Studio takes all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and quality of its services. However:
- We are not liable for any personal injury sustained during classes, workshops or other activities unless caused by our negligence.
- We are not liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings on the premises or at off-site events.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the cancellation or postponement of any class, event or hire.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Taramga Studio holds appropriate public liability insurance. Details are available on request.
