When I created the Women's Wellness programme at Taramga, I wanted to build something I wished had existed when I needed it most. A space that understands that pregnancy is not an illness, that postnatal recovery takes longer than anyone tells you, and that movement, gentle, joyful, intentional movement, can be one of the most powerful forms of care.
Every class in this programme has been chosen because it genuinely serves women at these stages of life. Small groups, so you are never lost in a crowd. Teachers who understand your body at this particular moment. And a studio where babies are not just tolerated, they are welcomed.
We end every class with a warming cup of tea, and more often than not, we carry on the conversation in the Yonder café space just outside, where WildGrains serves fresh food and drinks. Some of the best support you will find is not in the class itself, but in those quiet minutes afterwards, talking to someone who is living exactly what you are living.
You do not need to be a yogi. You do not need to have done this before. You just need to show up, exactly as you are.
